1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Do It Clock (“App”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the App. The App is operated by the developer (“we”, “us”, or “our”). Contact: [email protected]. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
2. Information We Collect
- Alarm data: Information you enter in the App—such as alarm name, time, schedule (repeating or one-time), and repeat days—is stored on your device so we can set and manage your alarms and show “Next Wake Up” and similar information.
- Camera and photos: When you dismiss an alarm, the App uses the device camera so you can take a photo of your chosen object. That photo is used only to verify that you completed the mission (e.g. via on-device processing). We do not upload, store, or retain your photos on our servers. Any temporary use of the photo is limited to the verification step on your device.
- Dismissal state: To handle cases where you leave the app during verification (e.g. after force-quit), we may store minimal data on your device (such as which alarm was ringing) so we can show the camera screen again when you reopen the App. This is stored only on your device (e.g. in secure local storage).
- Subscription and purchase data (if applicable): If the App offers in-app purchases or subscriptions, our payment or subscription providers may collect device and purchase-related information in accordance with their privacy policies.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to provide the App (alarms, camera-based dismissal, and related features), to improve the App, and to comply with the law. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data Storage and Third-Party Services
- Your device: Alarm data and dismissal-related state are stored on your device. We do not run our own servers that store your alarm or photo data.
- Apple: The App uses Apple services (e.g. AlarmKit, notifications, camera) in line with Apple’s policies and your device permissions.
- Other providers (if applicable): If we use third-party services for analytics, payments, or subscriptions, we will describe them here and they will process data according to their privacy policies.
5. Your Rights and Choices
You can revoke camera access in your device settings, delete the App (which removes locally stored alarm and dismissal data), and, where offered, use “Restore Purchases” for subscriptions. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data or to object to certain processing; contact us at the details below to exercise them.
6. Data Retention
We do not retain your alarm or photo data on our servers. Data on your device (alarms, dismissal state) remains until you delete it or uninstall the App. You can remove it by deleting the App.
7. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
